Thank you to all the advertisers, past and present, who have supported me in promoting Wynnum Manly over the past 25 years. The 2026 Wynnum Manly Visitor Guide marks my final edition produced in cooperation with the Manly based Sage Room Co-op team.
Through the annual Visitor Guide, newsletters and social media, it has been my privilege to showcase this wonderful community, encourage locals to support local businesses, and inspire visitors to discover all that our beautiful Brisbane Bayside destination has to offer.
Looking back through previous editions has been a fascinating journey. It’s wonderful to see the cafés, shops and venues that have been part of our story, those that have evolved over the years, and the many new businesses that have become part of our community. I am especially grateful for the longstanding partnerships I’ve enjoyed with the Manly Harbour Village Chamber of Commerce; our local government representatives; and the many loyal advertisers who have supported the publication since the very first slimline Visitor Guide and Map 25 years ago.
For the 2027 Wynnum Manly Visitor Guide I am delighted to hand over this and future publications to the very capable Kathryn Steinhardt and the team at the Sage Room Co-op. They will soon begin sales for the 2027 edition, bringing an even stronger digital presence to the publication. I encourage you to look out for their emails and continue supporting this outstanding local co-operative by advertising with them.
While I am stepping away from publishing the Visitor Guide, I won’t be going far. I look forward to seeing many of you around our wonderful community and will continue to be a proud ambassador for Wynnum Manly, both in person and online.
Thank you for your friendship, encouragement and support over the past 25 years. It has truly been an honour and a privilege to play a small part in sharing the story of Wynnum Manly.
